We're having an eclipse viewing party!

On Saturday, October 14th, North America will have the opportunity to view an annular solar eclipse. The moon will begin to block our view of the sun, here in Catoosa, at 10:23am. The eclipse will last approximately 3 hours, ending at 1:24pm. Maximum coverage (about 70%) will occur at 11:50am.

We would like to invite

Catoosa and Rogers County residents to join us for an eclipse viewing party. There will be crafts and activities, and each attendee will receive a pair of free eclipse glasses. The library will be open from 10:00am to 2:00pm. We are looking forward to celebrating this spectacular event with you!

And don't forget to hold on to your eclipse glasses and keep them in a safe place so you can use them again to view the upcoming total eclipse on April 8, 2024.
