Summer Reading Program Ends July 31st!

It's not too late! We have lots of reading prizes left. Finish up those reading goals and stop by to get your prizes. Or call us to pick them up via curbside.

Catoosa Public Library presents “Imagine Your Story”, our 2020 Summer Reading Program.

Children and teens who currently hold a Catoosa Public Library card may participate in the program. To obtain a library card, parents or guardians will need to call the library for more information.

This year we will be using the book tracker app Reader Zone. Through Reader Zone participants will be able to track what books they have read or how many pages they have completed. For those not wanting to use Reader Zone, paper reading logs will be available.

Summer Reading participants (ages 0-12) will receive a small prize for each 5 books (up to 20) or for every 100 pages read (up to 400). Teens (ages 13-18) will receive a prize for reading 5 books. These prizes will be awarded while supplies last.

Download the Reader Zone app and use Reader Zone code 76296 to join our program.  Sign up as a "parent" to add multiple readers to your account.  Select an appropriate age group for each reader and you are ready to read!

The Oklahoma Society for CPAs have generously provided us with 2020 Financial Fitness Kits!

Great for teens, adults, and seniors -- these kits help individuals to learn more about their personal finances to help make good financial decisions for themselves and their families.

COVID-19 Update: Phase III re-opening begins June 10

Good news! We are moving into phase III of our reopening plan – fully open with social distancing in place.

Here’s what you need to know:

• We will continue to be open our normal hours:     Monday 1:00pm-5:00pm     Tuesday-Thursday 9:00am-7:00pm     Friday 9:00am-3:00pm     Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm

• Patrons will be welcome to browse the stacks to find books and DVDs they want to checkout. Kids’ computers, toys, and meeting areas will not be available.

• There will be three computers open for public use. Computer users will be limited to one hour per day. Non-cardholders can use a computer one time as a guest.

• A limited number of tables/meeting areas will be available for patron use on a first come, first served basis. Use of these areas will be limited to no longer than one hour per person, per day.

• For the health and safety of patrons and staff, we ask that everyone entering the building wear a mask or other cloth face covering. Staff will also be wearing masks.

• For those not wishing to enter the building, curbside pickup will continue to be offered and wifi access will still be available in our parking lot.

• No in-person programs or events will be held during Phase III.
