Hot Spot Checkout Now Available!

The Catoosa Public Library is now offering hotspot check out to our patrons. With these hotspots you are able to connect your own devices and enjoy unlimited high speed internet service wherever you need it!

How it works:

  1. Check out your hotspot from the library service desk.

  2. Connect your own laptops, smartphones, tablet and e-readers and enjoy unlimited high speed internet service for 7 days.

  3. Return the hotspot and charging cable/block to the library.

What you need to know:

  • Hotspots can be checked out for 7 days at a time. No renewals are allowed.

  • Hotspots can be placed on hold. Only one member of a household can be on the hold list at one time.

  • Patrons checking out hot spot must have an account in good standing (no more that $5 in outstanding fines) and must have a signed agreement form on file. If the patron is under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the agreement form.

  • Hotspots will not be checked out to non-resident, temporary, or digital-only card holders.

  • If a reserved hotspot is being picked up, only the patron who placed the hold can pick up the hotspot. Adult patrons checking out a hotspot will be expected to show a photo I.D.

  • The late fee for late returns are $1 per day.

  • Service will be suspended after the 7-day checkout period.

  • Hotspots must be returned inside at the service desk (or through curbside) not in the dropbox.

  • If cables/charging blocks are not returned, there will be a $5 fee for each item not returned.

  • If the hotspot is lost or damaged, the replacement fee is $90.

How to get one:

Current library cardholders can place a hold on a hotspot by visiting our catalog at https://catoosa.biblionix.com/catalog/. Use your card number and phone number to log in and search for "hotspot." Or you can call the library at 918-266-1684 and we will get you on the hold list.

Those who live, work, or go to school in Catoosa or Tulsa zip codes 74108 or 74116 are eligible for a FREE library card. All you need to do is bring a photo ID and a piece of mail or other document with your name and address on it to the library and we will get you set up. Individuals under 18 will need to have a parent or guardian present during sign up and to sign the hotspot agreement form.
